Reports to: Consumer Lending Title Supervisor

Primary Functions: The Consumer Lending Title Specialist I is responsible for providing foundational support for the Consumer Lending Title Department by processing title-related documentation, perfecting, maintaining and releasing lien perfection requirements, handle inbound and outbound calls, and supporting daily operational workflows. This position focuses on developing technical knowledge of title administration while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and credit union policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Not Applicable
Experience/Skills: Ethical, self-motivated, resourceful, with high attention to detail and the ability to proactively seek solutions. Must possess excellent organizational skills, communication abilities, and robust analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have an ability to learn new computer systems.
Tenure: Consumer Lending Title Specialist II, Category 14, requires meeting proven acceptable performance standards with limited guidance from supervisors or management; as established by management. Directly related work experience and/or accelerated training completion may be substituted for tenure.
Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and applicable local or state wage requirements, and will fall within the range provided below. In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall between the minimum and midpoint of the listed range.
