Overview

Reports to: Property Management Officer

 

Functions Supervised: None

 

Primary Functions: Inspecting properties, monitoring escrow holdbacks, and renovation loans.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Perform interior, exterior, and virtual inspections on property as assigned by Management.
  2. Determine occupancy status and coordinate with contractor to secure and winterize if vacant.
  3. Responsible for inspecting and disbursing escrow holdbacks, AHFC and FHLMC Renovation loans.
  4. Interact with Special Credits, assist in collection efforts with property inspections.
  5. Post evictions and Assignment of Rents.
  6. Quote Construction & RE Loan payoffs. Process payoffs funds for Construction and RE Loan Payoffs.
  7. Assist as backup for the RE Loan Reconveyance process and Reception Desk.
  8. Assist as backup for the MSA phone queue during peak times.
  9. Assist with Audit requests.
  10. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.

 

Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Not Applicable

 

Experience/Skills: Two years’ experience as a property manager or in a property management division of a lending institution or in a building maintenance position. Six months’ direct experience coordinating, securing, and winterizing real properties preferred. Working knowledge of heating systems, plumbing systems, and adequate winterization methods. Knowledge of investor requirements. This position requires a valid driver’s license, acceptable and insurable driving record, pre-employment, and random drug testing. Sound navigational skills preferred.

 

Tenure: Assignment to the Real Estate & Property Management Specialist I (Category 14), Real Estate & Property Management Specialist II (Category 13), and Real Estate & Property Management Specialist III (Category 12) position will be determined by the candidate's education and/or experience. Advancement requires management recommendation and will be based on the candidate's experience and performance.

 

Compensation

Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and applicable local or state wage requirements, and will fall within the range provided below. In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall between the minimum and midpoint of the listed range.

Salary Pay Range: 12

$53,226 - $81,405 annually

Salary Pay Range: 13

$49,284 - $73,391 annually

Salary Pay Range: 14

$45,633 - $66,624 annually
