Overview

Reports To:  Varies by location

 

Primary Functions: Receptionist and clerical support for Global Credit Union Insurance Brokers. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Act as receptionist: respond to routine inquiries and direct calls appropriately.
  2. Greet and direct clients, members and other to appropriate individuals.
  3. Process incoming and outgoing mail.
  4. Receive, sort and deliver incoming faxes.
  5. Responsible for accurate filing of client and records and t-filing.
  6. Responsible for monitoring, ordering and organizing office supplies.
  7. Responsible for monitoring and promptly delivering referrals from Referral Tracking System (RTS), GCUIB Website and similar systems.
  8. Responsible for timely and accurate typing and data input as assigned.
  9. Assist is scanning, photocopying and printing projects when needed.
  10. Maintain thorough knowledge of GCUIB and Credit Union products and services.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma

 

Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Not applicable

 

Experience/Skills: One year receptionist, secretarial or direct client/member contact experience. Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time. Must be articulate and possess the ability to communicate well with the public via telephone and in person. Ability to type 45 wpm. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook). Must be able to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of client information and records.

 

Tenure: Administrative Support Specialist II (Category 14) requires six months tenure in the Administrative Support Specialist II (Category 15) position with performance that meets or exceeds expectations. Administrative Support Specialist III (Category 13) requires nine months tenure in the Administrative Support Specialist II (Category 14) position with performance that meet or exceeds expectations. Directly related work experience and/or accelerated training completion may be substituted for tenure.

 

Compensation

Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and applicable local or state wage requirements, and will fall within the range provided below. In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall between the minimum and midpoint of the listed range.

Salary Pay Range: 13

$49,284 - $73,391 annually

Salary Pay Range: 14

$45,633 - $66,624 annually

Salary Pay Range: 15

$42,254 - $60,844 annually
