Dealer Relationship Manager

Reports to: Manager Dealer Development

Functions Supervised: None

Primary Functions: Market indirect loan services to current and potential network dealers within assigned market area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Identify potential network dealers and market the credit union's indirect lending service to them.
2. Provide initial and follow up program training and loan origination materials to network dealers.
3. Act as liaison between dealer underwriting and funding departments and assigned dealers.
4. Act as liaison between retail financial services (branches) and consumer lending when assigned.
5. Maintain a schedule of recurring contact with assigned dealers.
6. Monitor competitor's dealer loan programs and recommend enhancements to the credit union's programs as appropriate.
7. Periodically review with management the volume and quality of loan production for each network dealer.
8. Report to management on contact with current and potential network dealers.
9. Coordinate potential field of membership expansion opportunities with Member Business Development.
10. Manage monthly and quarterly merchandise and marketing budgets for dealer entertainment to include dealer contests and challenges for targeted dealer improvement.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.

Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Three years’ experience in a similar position.

Experience/Skills: Requires extensive previous business-to-business sales experience and strong communication and administrative management skills. Must be able to travel and may be required to use own vehicle. This position requires a valid driver's license, acceptable and insurable driving record, and pre-employment drug testing.

Dealer Relationship Manager (Category 09)

Salary Pay Range: $69,557 - $112,677 annually. Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.

In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
