Reports to: Manager, Data Analytics

Primary Functions: Lead and implement data engineering projects, support and maintain data pipelines, and provide expertise and best practices regarding data engineering. Typical data engineering projects focus on improving performance and adding features to existing data pipelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, software or computer engineering, applied math, physics, statistics, or a related field.
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Minimum of ten years relevant experience.
Experience/Skills: Strong Experience in Design, Development, Implementation, Unit Testing, Troubleshooting and Support of ETL/ELT Process Using Wherescape RED and Other In-House Tools. Experience in the Snowflake Environment. Strong Experience in SQL Query Design and Implementation. Experience in DWH Concepts and other DWH Related Terms. Experience in SQL Performance Tuning and Query Optimization by Indexing, Partitioning and Denormalization. Well Versed with Migration. Working Knowledge of BI Reporting (preferably Tableau and SSRS). Experience with workflow orchestration. Understanding of security & privacy principals.

Senior Data Engineer (Category 06)
Salary Pay Range: $100,331 - $172,572 annually. Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.
In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
