Overview

Reports to: Learning and Development Manager

 

Functions Supervised: None

 

Primary Functions: Develop and provide Human Resources- specific and management-specific and corporate classroom training. Support enterprise training initiatives.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, develop and deliver classroom instruction in a variety of subject areas.
  2. Responsible for providing virtual/in-person Human Resources and management training on various topics to credit union managers.
  3. Act as instructor for various Talent Development classes.
  4. Assist with identifying and assessing management training needs.
  5. Responsible for managing class calendar and rosters in the Learning Management System (LMS).
  6. Maintain current knowledge of Global Credit Union products, services, practices, courses, curricula, policies, and procedures.
  7. Maintain currency in training and instructional methodology. Maintain familiarity with current texts, materials, teaching aids and techniques relative to courses and recommend adoption when appropriate.
  8. Present course information using a variety of instructional techniques and formats such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions and multimedia.
  9. Coordinate financial education outreach, conduct financial education training and enhance content for the financial education program as needed.
  10. Train other credit union managers and supervisors to train in their areas of expertise.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration or related field preferred.

 

Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Five years experience in institutional training and education programs. Background with financial institutions preferred.


Experience/Skills: Should have demonstrated communication and presentation skills. Should have excellent business writing and grammar skills. Should have experience with training curricula and training techniques. Should have strong organizational skills. Should have computer skills and abilities required for preparing, organizing, and delivering training, such as PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, e-learning software and learning management systems.


Tenure: Senior Corporate Trainer, category 8, requires one year tenure in the Corporate Trainer, category 9, position (or applicable experience) with performance that meets or exceeds expectations.

 

Compensation

Salary Pay Range:

  • Corporate Trainer (Category 09): $63,233 - $101,804 annually
  • Senior Corporate Trainer (Category 08): $72,717 - $119,983 annually

Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.

 

In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
