Reports to: Manager, Data Analytics

Primary Functions: A Senior Data Analyst takes on a leadership role and provides input into strategic decisions about reporting solutions, architecture, and technology. They take ownership of business lines and become an expert in that area. In short, they become a strategic partner with their business customers. They excel in query writing and report building and designing and implementing end-to-end reporting solutions. They can lead a team of developers and provide departmental direction, oversee multiple projects, and collaborate closely with stakeholders and senior management. They ensure best practices, maintain standards, and play a key role in shaping the organization's business analysis function.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field.
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Minimum of 2 years of Data Warehouse Developer III or six years of Data Analytics and reporting. Completion of SnoPro Certification or Tableau Data Analyst Certification is preferred.
Experience/Skills: Strong oral, written, administrative, organizational, and inter-personal skills. The ability to analyze problems, develop alternatives and recommendations. Proficiency in SQL and self-service analytics tools such as Excel, Power Pivot, YellowFin, Snowflake, PowerBI, Tableau etc. Familiarity with Visual Studio, Master Data Management, data quality tools, data integration tools, R, and Python is desired. Financial Services experience and familiarity of big data concepts is a plus.
Tenure: Assignment to Senior Data Analyst category 07 will be determined by the candidate's education or experience. Advancement requires management recommendation and will be based on the candidate's certifications and/or performance.
Salary Pay Range:
Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.
In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
