Reports To: Operations Support Officer
Functions Supervised: None
Primary Functions: Administer the credit union's specialty accounts to include IRA, HSA, business, trust and fiduciary accounts. Manage the Notary, Medallion Signature Guarantee, and Signature Validation programs. Process declaration of loss requests and replacement check orders. Coordinate and process all deceased member claims for the credit union including establishing Estate accounts. Assume increasing responsibilities as experience, tenure and training demonstrates.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Not applicable.
Experience/Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. General account knowledge or balancing experience. Strong organizational skills with a strict attention to detail. Ability to work independently, handle a variety of tasks, and self-proof work. Proficient in computer skills with office software. Must be able to directly communicate with members in a compassionate and professional manner.
Tenure: Operations Specialist II, category 14, requires six months tenure in the Operations Specialist I, category 15, position and performance that meets or exceeds expectations. Operations Specialist III, category 13, requires six months tenure in the Operations Specialist II, category 14, position and performance that meets or exceeds expectations. Senior Operations Specialist, category 12, requires six months tenure in the Operations Specialist III, category 13, position and performance that meets or exceeds expectations. Directly related work experience and/or accelerated training completion may be substituted for tenure.
Salary Pay Range:
Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.
In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
