Overview

Reports To: Mortgage Servicing Administration Officer

 

Primary Functions: Provide customer service to mortgage and real estate loan borrowers by responding to various requests and providing accurate information in a timely manner.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  1. Prepares reconveyances on paid off real estate loans in a timely manner.
  2. Maintains tracking of paid in full real estate loans on PC and prepares reconveyance package for filming.
  3. Prepares subordination requests and documents for management review.
  4. Responds courteous, timely and accurately to borrower's inquiries or complaints related to real estate or mortgage loans. Assists and/or resolves those complaints.
  5. Coordinates with the mortgage servicing center to insure mortgage borrowers' issues are handled and resolved, when attempts by the borrower to resolve the matter directly with the mortgage servicing center have failed.
  6. Process MRMS requests to timely conclusion.
  7. Provides MSA switchboard relief as required.
  8. Provides a variety of support to MSA to include researching film, microfiche (Alltel) and copying required documents for responses to requests for subpoena's or other inquiries.
  9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: High school graduate or equivalent.

 

Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Not Applicable

 

Experience/Skills: Mortgage Servicing Administration Specialist I requires one-year experience in the mortgage loan servicing field. Real estate lending or other financial services field may be substituted. Mortgage Servicing Administration Specialist II requires a minimum of two years experience in the real estate lending field with one year associated with the mortgage loan servicing or production field. Mortgage Servicing Administration Specialist III requires a minimum or three years experience in the real estate field with one year being servicing related. Must demonstrate the ability to handle conflict resolution with borrowers and have strong letter writing abilities. Must have good communication skills with working knowledge of mortgage documents, terminology and investor/insurer requirements. Ability to handle all member/borrower inquiries while complying with various investor requirements. Direct member/borrower contact is required. Proficient typing, data input and calculator skills.

 

Tenure: Mortgage Servicing Administration Specialist II, Category 14, requires six months tenure in the Mortgage Servicing Administration Specialist I position with performance that meets or exceeds expectations. Mortgage Servicing Administration Specialist III, Category 13, requires one year tenure in the Mortgage Servicing Administration Specialist II position with performance that meets or exceeds expectations. Directly related work experience may be substituted for tenure.

 

 

Compensation

Salary Pay Range:

  • Mortgage Servicing Administration Specialist I (Category 15): $38,412 - $55,312 annually
  • Mortgage Servicing Administration Specialist II (Category 14): $41,484 - $60,567 annually
  • Mortgage Servicing Administration Specialist III (Category 13): $44,803 - $66,309 annually

Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.

 

In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
