Overview

Reports to: Varies by location

 

Functions Supervised: Branch Service

 

Primary Functions: Responsible for the overall branch functions and service delivery with an emphasis on employee engagement, coaching and mentoring staff for career path opportunities and achieving the business and financial objectives of the credit union. Foster a positive environment through empathetic and personalized service with every interaction to improve the employee and member experience that aligns with the Global Management Philosophy and in compliance with the NCUA and DOD rules and regulations.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, monitor, and manage the member experience and service levels within the branch.
  2. Provide leadership to the branch team to build meaningful conversations that deepen and retain member relationships. Coach and mentor, through consistent observational feedback and frequent one on ones.
  3. Act as liaison between Global Credit Union and military Commanders or their designated representatives at their respective military community advising both on programs and activities that may affect branch operations.
  4. Responsible for the operation and maintenance coordination of the Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) at his/her duty site. This activity includes coordinating maintenance actions, transfer/loading, accountability of funds and transaction reporting.
  5. Leverage problem-solving and strong communication skills to resolve personnel and member concerns.
  6. Deliver effective member engagement strategies through community events, sponsorships, and financial literacy training. Participate in business networking, represent the credit union at professional events, and pursue leadership opportunities within the community.
  7. Maintain a thorough knowledge of market trends, research competitor product offerings, and make recommendations that will expand brand awareness and generate new business.
  8. Responsible for the personnel functions within the branch to include evaluating performance, employee recruitment, and maintaining a high level of employee morale and job satisfaction.
  9. Ensure compliance of all financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements* to include the security, physical control and maintenance of the facility and small branch equipment, supply inventory, management of branch cash, negotiable items, and general ledger accounts.
  10. Ensure a safe and inclusive work environment, solicit diverse ideas to challenge thinking, and build positive working relationships.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

*Also includes compliance with all Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) policies, procedures, and regulations.

Qualifications

Applicants must be solely US Citizens and must be able to qualify for accreditation through DOCPERS (DOD Contractor Personnel Office)

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree OR an Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field, and four years of specialized experience in related field.  

 

Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: High School Diploma and eight years of specialized experience or related field.**

**All creditable experience must be after the age of 18

Experience/Skills: Strong verbal and interpersonal communications and personnel management skills required. Ability to effectively engage with staff and members positively to identify needs that enhance and deepen the member relationship. Self-motivated, confident, and ability to multitask effectively. Ability to meet or exceed member experience expectations. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.

Compensation

Salary Pay Range:

  • European Branch Manager (Category 08): $72,717 - $119,983 annually

Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.

 

In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
